Loyalty Items Fundraiser

Orders Due November 13

Print an Order Form

Every year, we see these flyers for Harkins, but maybe you’re not quite sure what these items are or why our school is offering them.

Harkins sells many things besides movie tickets and they partner with schools and non-profits to raise funds.

One of the most popular items is their refillable souvenir cup. Purchase the cup for $6.75 and you can get $2.00 refills (first one is even free!) for all of 2020. If you purchase their summer movie tickets, this is a great way to get a cheap drink to stay cool!

While you’re at the theater, you can redeem your Popcorn Voucher. Each punch is good for a medium popcorn. There are 36 punches on each card – an average of 3 visits a month! Limit of one punch per visit. It’s only $30.

Lastly, if you can’t decide what to get that hard-to-shop-for person, we have $25 gift cards. Who doesn’t love movies?

What does all this have to do with fundraising? Neely purchases these items at discount and sells them for regular price. You aren’t paying any more than you would in the theater, BUT Neely’s PTO gets some much needed cash to help our school continue to be awesome!

Orders are accepted by paper form only and must be turned in by November 13th. We will deliver the vouchers for your purchased items during the week of December 9th so you can have time to get them to your family and friends for the holidays.

October 25, 5:30-8:30

The Neely Spooktacular is coming up on Friday, October 25th from 5:30-8:30pm.

There will be lots of fun for everyone!

  • The kids get to wear their costumes to “trick or treat” at the classroom doors
  • There is a costume parade
  • The evening ends with an outdoor movie: Coco.

Bring a picnic to eat on the lawn during the movie, or grab your favorite take-out food. Bring cash for the snack bar and dessert!

We really appreciate your willingness to volunteer and be involved in our school community! Here is an easy way to help and still enjoy the Spooktacular with your family:

  • We need parents to help get the school decorated between 3:00 and 5:15 when everyone starts showing up. The more people we have, the faster the work will get done.
  • If you can’t help set up, we need decorations to make the campus festive! You can donate decorations, or loan us your decor that you can have back at 8:30 that night! (Decorations can be dropped off at the Neely office Friday, 10/25 between 7:45am-3pm).
  • Maybe you want to dress up and hand out candy?!!!!
  • Lastly, we need just a few parents to help get everything taken down. It won’t take long. Let your kids play on the Big Blue Toy while you pick up trash, throw away temporary decorations, and bag up leftover treats.

We really can’t do it without you! We have awesome Neely parents and we know you will come out to help!

Thank you!

The admission cost for all of this awesomeness is $0, nada, nothin, not a penny! Just come and have fun!

We are asking for donations of candy or small allergy-friendly treats for the night (Please deliver to the office by 9am on Friday, October 25).

Schedule for the evening:

5:30 – Gate Opens

5:30 – 7:00 – Trick or Treat and go through Haunted Hallway/Fall Festive Hallway

5:30 – 8:00 – Photo Booth located under West Ramada

6:00 – 6:20 – Costume Parade (Meet by DJ)

6:30 – 8:30 – Movie: Low chairs and blankets welcome anywhere. Standard camp-chairs must be at the back of the area.

7:00 – Start clean up of doorways and hallways

Parent or responsible adult MUST stay on campus and supervise his or her own children. No Neely staff will be available to monitor children.

To help us plan for the event, please fill out the form below. It will only take 30 seconds!

We would like this event to be open to all students and we know some children have allergies that restrict their trick or treating fun. Please describe any allergies we should be aware of so that we can have alternate treats available to them.

Sign up for KNO

The form is set to take payments by cash, check, or PayPal. You may pay with a credit card or e-check through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account.

Only 250 children will be enrolled. We will use names from a waiting list to add children if space opens up.

What does it cost?

It’s $18 for the first child enrolled, and $12 for each additional kid.

This price includes a pizza dinner, water, a treat, and all events for the evening.

What should my kid bring?

Not much! For the movie portion of the evening, the kids will be allowed to lay out blankets and pillows to get comfortable on the cafeteria floor. This will be about 90 minutes at the end of the night. No toys or stuffed animals will be allowed. Please label all items with your name in case they are misplaced. These items will be stored in the music room until they are needed.

Your kid will NOT need a water bottle, a meal, or anything electronic! We have it all covered!

Who is going to be watching my kid?

Neely teachers! Aren’t they wonderful? Each grade will be with a certified teacher and several teen/parent helpers all evening. PTO board members will supervise and organize the event. Only registered volunteers will be allowed through the south cafeteria doors to ensure your child’s safety.

Give me the nitty-gritty. How does this all work?

Arrive before the doors open at 4:45 and get in the single line. Make sure you have your check-in card that will be sent home on Sept 12th. Volunteers will verify your child’s information, make sure you have what you need for check-out, attach allergy wristbands, and direct your kids where to go. You may stay in the cafeteria to help them get comfortable if needed, but only registered volunteers may enter the school campus.

Then you’re off for a kid free evening! We will contact you if your child needs you, we promise, so go with a carefree heart!

Return between 8:30 and 8:45. The east gate will be open and we will need you to be patient as we match children and parents safely. Do not leave younger siblings in the car, please. You will need to follow the check out procedure instructions you received when you dropped off your child(ren). If you do not have the required items, we will have a table so we can verify your ID. Proceed into the waiting area. We have wranglers there to collect your kids for you. Let the wrangler know who you are picking up. If you have a photo of them on your phone, have it available to show the wrangler to make finding the kids faster. Your kids will meet you by the double doors. A volunteer will collect and match you to your child’s nametag at the end of the waiting area and you will be free to go.

*If you have a 6th grader, please use the Remind app at pick-up to text the 6th grade team your child’s name and that you are in line and they will send your kid to the cafeteria.

August 1, 2019, 8:10-8:45am

Dropping your kid off for their first day at Neely can be an emotional experience! For some of us, it’s marked by tears at how quickly he or she is growing up; for others, it’s a celebration of how much he or she has grown. Either way, we want to give you a place filled with like-minded parents, grandparents, and caregivers to connect with!

On the first day of school, follow the signs to meet us under the West Ramada after the bell has rung and the little (or big) ones have marched off to their classrooms, dwarfed by their backpacks. We will have a light breakfast and tissues, as well as PTO members present to answers questions you have about Neely.

Families of all new Neely students, from Kindergarten to 6th grade, are welcome!

Print a flyer to remember the details.

July 30, 5:30-7pm

If you’re new to Neely, you may wonder what happens at Back to School Night.

Here is what you need to know:

Back to school night is a chance to familiarize yourself with the campus, meet teachers and staff, and fill out SOOOO MANY forms! Bring a good pen, seriously.

The PTO table is a great first stop. We run almost every social event on campus, except school concerts and academic-event related nights (but we still have information about those, too).

We can answer questions and give you information on what to expect throughout the year.

Since our main goal with our events is fundraising, we start off the year with our T-Shirt sales.

We have shirts for adults and kids, in two designs. Shirts are $15 each. You can purchase them on our site, or stop by our table on Back to School Night, or come by the office. We will have a majority of the shirts in stock and we have sample sizes of everything so you can be sure to get exactly what you need!

Once that is done, you have more to do!

Plan to:

  • Meet your child’s teacher and see their classroom and desk set-up. Class Lists will be available to view at our Teacher Reveal Restaurant Night at Peter Piper Pizza.
  • Bring your supplies so your kiddo isn’t weighed down the first day! Supply lists are available for each grade in PDF format. You can also find these lists on the Neely website. More information is in this post
  • Take a walk around campus and find your Art, Music, PE, and other classrooms.
  • If you haven’t already, stop by the Cafeteria to see everything Neely has to offer, from VIK to PTO; it’s all in one place!

ONE MORE THING!

We offer a PTO Membership for $10 that comes with many benefits:

  • Extended registration deadline – One weekend early on most events. This is helpful for our events that usually sell out early.
  • A weekly super-short email with quick links to all of the things coming up that week at Neely (Concert Tuesday at 6, Carnival orders due Thursday, etc.)
  • Text Reminders (through Remind) about registration deadlines or events 24 hours in advance.
  • We also have a little gift of a calendar magnet for you as a thank you.

SIGN UP NOW!

If you have any other questions, you can contact the front office (480) 892-2805 or email the PTO:[email protected]

Box Tops Are Changing

Fall 2019

While you can still turn in any Box Tops you have around the house (and please do!), packages will soon have a new label with new redemption instructions.

Instead of clipping the 10c tops off of packages, you’ll use the Box Tops app to scan in your receipt. You can do it as you leave the store and never think about sending in Box Tops again! Now when your kid tosses the box in the recycling bin, you don’t have to dig it out to claim that little rectangle!

Check out the flyer below for all of the details

Thank you for your support!

Box Tops Drive

May 13-17

School is almost out for the summer. It’s time to turn in all of your Box Tops before the year is over and they expire.

Bring your Box Tops in the morning (before school starts) to the table under the East Ramada, from May 13th through May 17th. A prize will be given to each student when they turn in at least 5 Box Tops together. One prize per student, please.

The classroom with the most Box Tops submitted will win a $25 gift card for their teacher.

We are keeping it simple at the end of the year. We know you’re busy! The last check from Box Tops was just over $400. Those little 10c cardboard rectangles add up quickly, so send them in!

Thank you for your support!

Let’s lift them UP!

At Neely, we honor every one on campus, all in one week!

May 6-10, 2019

Sure, we call it Teacher Appreciation Week, but it’s really Staff Appreciation. Every person who spends their work hours at Neely is part of the fun! We honor them with daily raffle prizes, lunches, treats, notes, and so much more!

You can help by checking out the Sign-Up Genius. On it are really simple things: stocking the fridge with all of the staff’s favorite drinks and bringing in part of a meal for them. That’s it!

Your room parent will contact you with specifics for your teacher, so be looking for that email soon. Everything is designed to be easy and inexpensive to allow all children to participate.

While you’re waiting for that email, you can check out your teacher’s favorite things here:
