Neely PTO Phone Number

We now have another way you can contact your PTO.

We have one number that will reach all of the board members at once. You can call, text, or leave us a voicemail. This number is permanent, no matter who is on the board, so save it in your phones now.

1 (877) 75-NEELY

Call or Text Us

We still have the [email protected] email.

Please join us for a meeting to update our Bylaws at 6:30 on September 3rd.

It will only be 15 minutes long and you can join from your couch!

If you are a current Neely parent, you can join with our Participation link. If your kids are at Global Academy full time, you are welcome to view the meeting with this view only link. Both links are through Google Meet and you will need to sign in and use your full name to join.

This meeting is important to allow us to include all Neely families in our membership.

You can view the agenda and the original and proposed Bylaws below.

August 1, 2019, 8:10-8:45am

Dropping your kid off for their first day at Neely can be an emotional experience! For some of us, it’s marked by tears at how quickly he or she is growing up; for others, it’s a celebration of how much he or she has grown. Either way, we want to give you a place filled with like-minded parents, grandparents, and caregivers to connect with!

On the first day of school, follow the signs to meet us under the West Ramada after the bell has rung and the little (or big) ones have marched off to their classrooms, dwarfed by their backpacks. We will have a light breakfast and tissues, as well as PTO members present to answers questions you have about Neely.

Families of all new Neely students, from Kindergarten to 6th grade, are welcome!

Print a flyer to remember the details.

July 30, 5:30-7pm

If you’re new to Neely, you may wonder what happens at Back to School Night.

Here is what you need to know:

Back to school night is a chance to familiarize yourself with the campus, meet teachers and staff, and fill out SOOOO MANY forms! Bring a good pen, seriously.

The PTO table is a great first stop. We run almost every social event on campus, except school concerts and academic-event related nights (but we still have information about those, too).

We can answer questions and give you information on what to expect throughout the year.

Since our main goal with our events is fundraising, we start off the year with our T-Shirt sales.

We have shirts for adults and kids, in two designs. Shirts are $15 each. You can purchase them on our site, or stop by our table on Back to School Night, or come by the office. We will have a majority of the shirts in stock and we have sample sizes of everything so you can be sure to get exactly what you need!

Once that is done, you have more to do!

Plan to:

  • Meet your child’s teacher and see their classroom and desk set-up. Class Lists will be available to view at our Teacher Reveal Restaurant Night at Peter Piper Pizza.
  • Bring your supplies so your kiddo isn’t weighed down the first day! Supply lists are available for each grade in PDF format. You can also find these lists on the Neely website. More information is in this post
  • Take a walk around campus and find your Art, Music, PE, and other classrooms.
  • If you haven’t already, stop by the Cafeteria to see everything Neely has to offer, from VIK to PTO; it’s all in one place!

ONE MORE THING!

We offer a PTO Membership for $10 that comes with many benefits:

  • Extended registration deadline – One weekend early on most events. This is helpful for our events that usually sell out early.
  • A weekly super-short email with quick links to all of the things coming up that week at Neely (Concert Tuesday at 6, Carnival orders due Thursday, etc.)
  • Text Reminders (through Remind) about registration deadlines or events 24 hours in advance.
  • We also have a little gift of a calendar magnet for you as a thank you.

SIGN UP NOW!

If you have any other questions, you can contact the front office (480) 892-2805 or email the PTO:[email protected]

Shop while shelves are full!

Chandler starts before us, so deals start in early July

Each grade is different

Each grade has a specific list that matches what the students will need for the year.  PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. Each grade has instructions for names on items or not. If it is not specified (older grades), you may write the student’s name on the materials in a small, easily covered or erased manner.

Parents, please purchase Ticonderoga pencils for school. It really does matter! Other brands to choose if they’re similarly priced to competitors: Expo Dry Erase, Crayola crayons, and Elmers glue sticks. These aren’t as important as the pencil brand, but they’re nicer products than the competitors’.

For other items (paper, folders, erasers, etc) brands do not matter as much, so whatever is on sale is fine as long as it meets the listed description. Plastic folders must be plastic and not paper, for instance.

Supplies can be brought to school during Back to School Night so your child can come to their first day without armloads of supplies. It also helps teachers by giving them time to organize and prepare the supplies for their classroom.

Staples has a new program this year.  When parents log their receipts in the program, they can select a teacher who will benefit from their purchase.

Teachers, enroll in the program now. Then print and give this  to the kids in your class.

Parents, no account is needed. You can simply log your receipt using Stapes’ online portal.

Welcome to NeelyPTO.org

We hope to be your #1 resource for all things Neely!

Our school attracts students from all over Gilbert, which can make communication hard. You can subscribe to this blog/website and never miss an important announcement again.

Don’t worry, we won’t go overboard. You can expect a couple of emails a month at most. When we publish a new post, it will be emailed to you automatically, if you’re subscribed. If you miss something, head back to the site and use the search function at the bottom of every page! No more email hunting.

Need even more reminders about what’s happening? Check out our PTO Membership!

Can’t make it to the PTO meetings but have ideas you want heard? We have live-streamed meetings through Facebook.

Curious how an event’s financials turned out? Look at the financial documents under Home on the site.

Forget to register for an event until the very last day and can’t make it to school to turn in your form? Use NeelyPTO.org to register and pay online with PayPal.

Lost the sheet that lists your teacher’s favorite treat and you know she’s had a rough week? They are all listed here.

The most important part of this site, though, is that we can make it work for you and for us. It is all able to be customized.

We hope you’ll poke around, give us a little grace as we work out the kinks, and come back often.

See you July 31 at 5:30 for Back to School Night! We will be in the cafeteria, with Chromebooks set to our site!

(Oh, and if you’ve built a website before or know how to, contact me! I’m self taught and it’s really complex! -Randi)

Our school nurse is in URGENT NEED of extra boys’ underwear, size 10 and under. These are used for children who have accidents or other mishaps at school and are important for helping our kids feel secure on campus.

If you have any extras your children have outgrown or are hitting up the Target sales, please consider donating to our wonderful nurse’s office.  You can send them in a labeled bag with your child or drop them off in the front office.

If your child has been loaned items from the nurse, please wash and send them in as soon as possible! Our stash of extras is running low.

Do You Love Photos?

Our yearbook needs your help to make it great!

First, order yours here: Buy a Yearbook  You can even create an account when you check out so you don’t turn into Dory!

Next, upload ANY photo taken at Neely or at a Neely event to Pictavo.com. They even have an app for iPhone or Android devices to make it SUPER easy to contribute. We want every photo – from professional to SnapChat! This kid could be you!

Then, send NeelyPTO.org your photos! We aren’t as fancy as Pictavo, but we want to show off all of our wonderful Neely kiddos and the fun they have at our events. So why can’t we just use the Pictavo ones? For copyright protection, only the person who uploaded the image can download it. You can send us your images using this simple form:

Submit Images

Schedule that haircut because Picture Day is October 19th. Please do everything you can to ensure your child is present and your photo order is turned in (to the teacher or online). Group photos cannot be taken during retake days and kids want to remember everyone in their class. Thanks!

We finally did it!
